May 2, 2009 · I'm looking to buy an Atari Flashback 2. 40 built in games, most of which are ones I'd buy as cartridges. Composite AV output and they made it so the board can accept a cartridge slot wired to it. Given I can't find the real good titles in stores in my area, am I wrong for wanting to ditch "original hardware" to save on the cash?

Mod-Friendly if you have the parts and skill to add a cartridge port. Atari Flashback 2+: Less recommended. Like #2 but with no Activision games but some sports games. Atari Flashback 3 (60 games)

Now I go shopping for one, and I'll be damned if I can't find one anywhere! Have they all been clearanced off the shelves? Are there places where it is still stocked?

Feb 24, 2010 · I got my Atari Flashback 2.0 about a week ago, with the intention of modding it with a cartridge port. I don't have the cartridge connector yet, though I do have a 2600jr coming my way via Ebay, so I figure I'm good to go.

May 29, 2005 · Check it out here. Yeah, its only one of those plug and play devices but its an official one and comes with cool looking joystiks. Not to mention that it includes Adventure. :-P There's also an article about it and the new PS2 Atari Anthology here. The new Anthology BTW is going to contain 85 games this time around.

Jan 1, 2008 · It is my understanding that the atari flashback 1 is basically a NOAC job. Is it possible to dump the games as a NES rom to play in a nes emulator, or is there more to it. I know that most people don't like the flashback 1, but I don't find it all that bad.

Oct 8, 2016 · Up for preorder on Amazon is Atari Flashbacks Vol 1 and Vol 2. Kind of a scummy move that there's 50 games per disc so they can charge $20 each, but they do include online leaderboards and online multiplayer according to the box.

It looks like the only difference between the regular and deluxe editions is the inclusion of paddle controllers. Is that the only addition? If so, the $40 price difference doesn't seem worth it to me.
